I was searching for a lace brush and came across this site (http://www.pixel2life.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5418) that has a big list of sites that have brushes.

I didn't find a lace brush, but I found lace patterns that work when you apply the pattern to a layer mask.

Thanks so much for this link - great list! You may like to take a look at the Broderie Anglaise (eyelet lace) (http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?cPath=2_86&sort=20a&main_page=index&filter_id=15) brushes I have just put in the store here at DSP?

raynebair....Thanks for that link. That's a great resource to keep. I started to write them down, then realized it was so big. So I copied it to a word document. There's a lot there.

Kathy I'm no expecrt on PSE at all, but I'd say probably not as a brush (I hope I'm wrong!) - but the .png files (shape on a transparent background) are in the set and these I'm sure you can use.
Hope fully someone else will chime in here? Emma?

Karen, I hope I'm understanding the question correctly? if you can see it in preset manager it is there.
To use it:
* Type the letter "b" to bring up your Brush Palette
* Click on the little downward facing arrow and from the pop up menue select "load brushes"
* Browse to the folder where you have your brushes stored, and double click on the name of the set which you want loaded - they should now be there and ready to use!
I hope this helps?

Yes, you can use brushes in PSE3.0.

Good luck!

Glad you got it figured out and using the brushes

Don't forget I give away a Lace Brush set in my DSU 270 PSE brushes class, I think it has 4 or 5 different laces.

Luv2Crop, how do you use the brushes in PSE 3.0? How do you get them into the brushes palette? The same way as in PS? I don't see a "load brushes" in the pull down menu. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

Hi! I have PSE3. The load brushes option is in the menu you get when you pick the little blue arrow that point right. That button is in the brushes drop down menu. It's sort of like a menu from the menu. PSE3 has millions of those extra options. Always look for the little arrow on the side of menus. HTH. Kathy :)

Thanks, Kathy! I found it now. Would never have noticed those little arrows if you hadn't mentioned it.

Looks like I'm not the only one awake so late tonight!

I'm not sure I explained that well. Here's a picture of where it is.

Let me know if you have any more problems. I just finished the brushes class.

Wow, those are some beautiful brushes! Thanks for showing the pop up menu. That little arrow, the first time I found it in PS, made me feel like, "WHY do they hide this stuff all over the plaaaaace?!!!!!!!!!!!" Like I would NEVER find it all! But you just learn to "see" that little arrow and know it means extra goodies hidden therein

And Kathy did a GREAT job in the brushes class! You always put in so much effort and it really shows. (She feels like a pest, but that's just 'cause she works so hard!)

Can you tell me where to find the brushes you showed us? They are great.
