Brush trouble... can't use downloads?

I have downloaded some freebie brushes here (heart doodles and sun doodles) as well as one from adobe exchange. Every time I try to load these new brushes, I get a message that PS7.0 "could not load the brushes because the file is not compatible with this version of photoshop". The extension appears to be correct- *.abr

What am I doing wrong? :confused:

Photoshop brushes cant be used in a version older than the one they are made in . Its a thing Adobe has done which is very annoying!!. So if a brush is made in pscs then it wont be able to be used in PS7 . Usually here at DSP the person making the brush will include a png file so you can make your own brush within ps7 from it - if you need help on this just holler and someone will help you out.
