Way OT, but I have a ??? for all you ladies out there.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary April 9th. He is going to be taking me somewhere special, in San Francisco..woohoo.

Now, I don't know what to do for him. I don't want to do the norm, which is just get 'some gift' that he can get anytime...I want to do something really 'special'. It doesn't have to cost alot, well, it really can't; not a millionare here....LOL.

So, if anyone has a suggestions, I am way, way open to hear/see them!!!

Thanks so much! :D

Take a really nice gift bag and pack into it a bottle of Champagne, massage oil/cream, a scented candle, yummy chocolates, deck of cards, anything else you guys might like and at the bottom...a wonderfully sexy nightie! Your hubby will think it is the best gift he ever got. (and if Victoria Secret is out of your price range, you would be surprised what nice lingerie Mervyns and Walmart have!)

oooh Canay, I think any man would love that!

Our 10th isn't for a few years yet (it will be 7 in september for us, but together for 16 yrs, arrrgh, like working backwards, lol!), and we're going to go somewhere tropical since we didn't really go on a honeymoon, he'll get plenty of "presents" while we're there, LOL!!!!

Even if your man isn't romantic -- maybe you could go frag some guys online with him, lol, my dh would die if I suggested that! I know your's has the same addiction as mine, hee hee -- something "romantic" that ultimately leads ... well .. you know where ... is always a great bet!

Happy Anniversary Laura, 10 is a great #!!!!

Weeeeeeeeeelllllll, how about taking a photo from your wedding, scanning it and putting some cool words with it..... You had to know I'd suggest that.... LOL!!! Let me see if I can dig up the one I did recently - one I did for a friends' anniversary as a gift to her hubby,a nd the other I did for ... ME! LOL! But you could have it printed as an 11x14 and mat frame it really nicely - voila!

All GREAT suggestions! :D

My husband would ALWAYS go for the sexy stuff...LOL. I don't know too many men who wouldn't.

I thought about the Wedding Pic idea; but wasn't sure he would REALLY appreciate it as much as us women do..hehe. :p

Thanks ladies....big help!!!!

I am REALLY interested in this topic....

my husband and I will be married 10 years TOMORROW...talk about waiting until the last minute! And to make it worse, he's on a business trip and will be out of town!

We were married by a judge, then a year later married in a church. Tomorrow is the 10th anniv of the judge, so if we do a big celebration, we'll just wait until 10 years from the church ceremony. But I do want to do something tomorrow!

I had my 3 yr old remind him yesterday that mommy really loves flowers, but I doubt I'll get more than that from him. Since I waited until the last minute, and he's out of town, I think I'm going to start scanning wedding photos and create something I can email him tomorrow.

Wish me luck!
Brenda :)

Good luck Brenda...and don't feel bad about waiting until the last minute.

My husband and I both forgot our anniversaries 2 years in a row. I attribute it to stresses in our lives at the time. We laughed ourselves silly when we finally remembered.

It's not that we forgot it was the 9th, we just forgot when that day came; that, that day was the 9th....so much for keeping track of days huh?

I am just thankful it was 'both' of us forgetting and not just one!!!

One year, my husband did something real nice; went and got a nice Italian dinner (take out) brought it home and brought some wine and candles and we had a sit down at home. After the kids were in bed of course! That is for those that can't get out to enjoy their anniversary, which we had plenty of those.

Again, good luck..and just remember...even if you can't celebrate it the way you might want...on the day you want...you celebrate it everyday you stay together!!! :D
