Tell your friends about the trading cards!!!

We can all think of some artist trading cards we must have! Go private message or email some of your pals around DSP and be sure they've seen the hoopla!! I think it would be great for everyone to make a DATC of themselves with where they are from to share with people that they are chatting with or taking classes with. I would love to see everyone's face that is in the same class as I am taking. I'm a social person and chat a lot with the other people in the classes. Not only do I like to see their face, but I would like to know what country or state they are from. It's fun to know people from around the world, or people in the same community. They can be like a digital business card!

Hey, Hummingbird, that's kind of what I thought DATCs were--like digital business cards??? Because they are very cool, but I just don't 'get' DATC's. Loser that I am...I read Ann Maree's very eloquent explanation, but I just don't get them. Are they just mini-LO's? Are they shrunken versions of my fave LO that I've done? And where the heck do you guys keep them all? Do you print really print them all out and put them in the baseball card books?

I feel like I am just missing a step--I want to get it, really I do!!! Can someone clue me in, pretty please?

I swear Rutgers gave me a pretty good education--maybe I'm just still a little sleep-deprived with my 2.5 month old, ya know, but I feel so clueless.. :eek:

Heehee. I just discovered this today, so I had to jump in and make my own. I like how it turned out but I'm always seeing things I could tweak or change or add after I've uploaded it to the gallery.

I just received some pages to store the DATC's. Now I can carry them with me to share with my friends that are not digital. Some of them look so much better when they are printed. I just love them. Now I'm getting my mother to get the local elementary school to make some ATC to share with another school. Sounds like more fun for them.

they're just business sized cards that you make about yourself. or about something else. then trade with others. i love having faces to usernames to real names on some of the ones i have. :) i'm printing and putting into an album. it's fun to have my emaginary friends to look at! :D
