DATC Are you Printing?

Are you going to print your DATCs???? I think I've about got enough cards to print one sheet.

I also have some I'll be printing up and mailing out.

So I want to know do you plan to print, have you printed, or will your DATC remain digital?

I thought about printing them. but then I thought how would I trade them? would I have to tear up my printed copy and then email the digital? how can you trade digitally if you print and delete?

I dunno. I have printed out a few, but still have the digital original that was sent to me.

I'm printing and going to bring them to get togethers...that way I can trade with the hard copies. I've also got some that I will only be mailing out and not sending the digital copy to anyone...and that might help with trading.

I'm going to print as well as send electronically for those who want one...like the idea of being able to glue on a back...also itching to try printing to different papers/medium, etc. My new obsession!

Again we are all setting the benchmark with DATC - I have tried the following -

Printed on card stock
printed on glossy photo paper
printed on everyday photopaper and laminated

I definately intend to store in a trading card album
all are great options but Im leaning towards print and laminate as they are more hard wearing!!!
Would love everyone to jump in and discuss what they think - there is no wrong or right way!!!!

Yes I will print - after the weekend when I have more time - I intend to get them printed and look for some kind of storage system ( probably something in the $2 stores I hope!!

I haven't been able to participate yet but when I do.... :D I want to print and place them up on my bulletin board so that when I am in a chat I can see all your sweet faces looking at me! :D That is the plan anyway... :D :D

absolutely i'm printing! i'm putting them in an album so i can take them to my family and prove i have these "real" online friends. :)

I will be printing soon. I haven't done it yet as I ran out of ink in my printer. My plan is to print them onto photo paper, then cut and store them on either a bulletin board near my desk or put them into a trading album. I like the idea on the bulletin better as I know I'll look at them more often.

I will be creating a photo album digitally to view my friends on my screen... printing to put all of them in a trading card album which I am already designing... and I will for sure be lamenating them. :) Will also print some of mine to share with family. Great bookmarks, don't you think?

Wow! So many great ideas. I never thought about what I would do. But after reading this thread I have decided to print also and then laminating. I think that's a great idea to share these beautiful works of art with people who are not digital. Now I want to collect a bund. Hey Emma...how would you set up the printer to print several on one page????

I have already printed mine out, and have put them into a black page album, using silver or gold corners and then doing folk art flowers, or folk art lace , I have posted three pages, will link them here as well

Next page is on the drawing board, and will probably be folk art hand painted gold mesh and forgetmenots around the card.. If I ever can stop making the cards long enough .. that is.

Woo hoo!!! I've printed them out!!! THEY ARE AMAZING!!! I'll post some pictures soon
