My step son is having a bar mitzvah and I would love to make his invites....does anyone have any ideas on how to do very nice invitations, with reply cards, etc?

Ohh... We are planning a wedding ourselves. We found a cool idea. Several places (Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Walmart (limited choices), and some office stores) have a kit you can get. You get the invite, response card, and envelops for both. Then you can run them through your printer. Ours are embossed with intertwined hearts.

On sale, we got enough for 200 people for $60!!!! They even have matching programs that you can get too.

This is the style we got. They seem pretty nice.

here is what I'm doing for my sisters wedding. We are going to have them printed as 5x7 photo's at Costco or Sam's club and get the envy's to mail them in. I'd appreciate any thoughts on this. I'm wondering if its not too much purple now.
