Is there any software out there that can print off tiny thumbprints of all the pictures you have on a CD? I want to get all my pictures organized and off my hard drive. I thought it would be nice to print off thumbnails off each picture so I know exactly what is on each CD. Is there such a thing? Thanks!

there are lots actually. jasc photo album, adobe's photo album, irfanview, and there are more. if you have windows xp, that'll do it as well and it's very easy. i just organized all of my pics finally and love it!! i have a cd in a cool cd-holding page protector then pages of thumbnails of everything on that cd. then the next cd... my hard drive loves me for it too. :)

Margie,
This is exactly what I need to do. I have Windows XP - can you please tell me how to do this? Thanks so much!

certainly. maybe we'll add this to the university too.
go to windows explorer (right click on start and choose explore).
go to your folder with pics in it and click on one to open it in the picture and fax viewer. (where it's previewed)
then click the print button at the bottom. (between delete and save)
the photo printing wizard will start, click next.
click on select all, or just the thumbs you want to print, keeping in mind you'll get 35 thumbnails to a page, then click next.
choose your printer, next.
scroll down to contact sheet prints and click on it. it'll show a preview.
click next to print your sheets of thumbnails!
notes:
it'll print the thumb plus the file name for easy finding.
if you have a ton of folders, you have to click on a photo inside each folder to get the contact sheets printed, that's why i keep them all in one folder now arranged by date.
everyone will have a different favorite system, so experiment and find the way you prefer.

If you have photoshop you can do this also, go to File - automate- contact sheet and choose your rows and columns any way you want
ACDC makes contact sheets also. It's a pretty cool program for viewing and managing image files. Though I find the latest version is so cool it's getting harder to learn!

You can also check this Freeware site (http://www.bento.ad.jp/freeware/english/), for those of you who may have canon bubblejet printers.
