Images and Vectors in PSP8

Is there a way to turn a regular image into a vector shape in PSP8? If so, *how*???

I don't think so. The only way I know to make a pixel-based shape into a vector-based shape is to trace over it with the vector or path tool. (I don't know what it's called in PSP...) That's pretty labor intensive.
