Ok...Ive looked everywhere and cannot figure this out. If I wanted to have a link in my siggy for lets say- My gallery, how are people putting "My gallery" with a link that will take you there by clicking on the word? Does that make any sense?
Thanks in advance!

:D there's a button at the top, the little globe with a link that to me looks like a world with glasses on... just mouse-over all the little icons to see what they do... oh, in the edit signature box. the same icons are over this box when you reply to posts. hth. Ü

OK - feeling pretty dumb right now - when Amanda says "go into your signature", where exactly is that?

When looking at this forum scroll to the top where it says new posts and if you look at that line all the way to the left you will see User CP click on that
Then a new options will appear down the left of the screen.
Towards the top you will see the Signature option.

You can also click on "Quick Links" up at the top.

I'm sorry to be so dense, but I'm having trouble with editing my signature. I go into Edit Signature and when I choose Comic Sans for font, I get a pop-up box that says Explorer User Prompt. I think I'm supposed to type my signature in there, but then when I choose font color, I get the same box. When I preview my signature, it looks like there are 2 there. I haven't even gotten to inserting a hyper-link yet! I'm sorry to ask, but could someone give me directions?

one way i do it is to type my text first, highlight it then apply a change in font, color, size linking it ..etc...Are you already doing it that way?

way to go! :D for the future, the thing to remember is that the code tags need to be on both sides of the text. there's a tag like B in the front, then /B at the end. when you click bold or hyperlink, you get a box to fill it, but it will just apply that effect to that text. to add more than one effect, highlight it is the easy way and apply everything. but once you're more comfortable with the code, you can just type it in also. the FAQ files (above) have good examples here too.
here's a line called your text here that is:
1. arial font
2. red
3. underlined
4. italicized
5. bold
<FONT=Arial> <COLOR=Red> <U> <I> <B> your text here </B> </I> </U> </COLOR> </FONT>
you'd just have to replace the > and < with ] and [. yeah, i'm a geek. have fun! :D
