I have heard mention of these here and there, and they do not seem to come up at the free font sites I have found. What are they? Must I pay for them? Are they worth the cost? Are they better than the free stuff out there?

Sandra-
Yup, you're right they do not come up on the free sites. You will need to purchase them from the creating keepsakes site. You may find them also at Michaels, Joann's, etc. I also believe there is a site where you can purchase individual fonts. Do a search for creating keepsakes fonts.
Hope that helps.

I love them and think they are definitely worth the money. I'm not a big fan of all of them (the cutesy ones that you can fill) but I LOVE LOVE LOVE their handwriting fonts. Love their retro and heritage too. :)

Does anyone know the terms of use for CK Fonts? Want to know before I purchase.

I just purchased some CK fonts from scrapnfonts as they are having a 2 for 1 sale right now, CK fonts are 2.99, so you get them for $1.50 apiece!

What do you mean by terms of use? I know that you CAN use for them for commerical projects but you must get special permission for them first. We use them for DSP products all the time.

Thanks Amanda. I meant whether they could be used for commercial purposes. I am working on some kits and would like to use them but wasn't sure. I will have to check on who to contact for permission.

You can buy the ck fonts individually at the scrapnfont site and also at the lettering delights site as well. However, you can also purchase the whole cd at Michaels (w/coupon - there are a few different ones). I don't like the cutesy ones either but find that my kids love them for school projects and their scrapbooks. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies. I am currently watching several auctions for both new or used CK font collections, some single and some bundles. Hopefully I will find a deal I can't pass up!
just an FYI- I use TONS of CK fonts in my word art here in the DSP store! LOVE them.

My mother owns CK fonts and it is worth her money! I LOVE THEM SOOO MUCH and would have downloaded them on my computer but she lives so far away. I did have them on my old computer not this one I am currently using. Oh, well. They are worth our money. Definitely. I know I would preferred getting free fonts.
