Am finally mastering DIP 9 and discovering that I can now do things a lot quicker but was wondering how I go about changing a photo to just one color - not black & white or sepia BUT for example, purple or green. Do I need to go black & white first and then choose a color from somewhere?
This website is a little addictive!

I don't think it is necessary to turn to B&W - but you can try both and see what you like better.

Download Virtual Photograher (link above) - It is a plugin that is compatible with DIP and it works great!

Thanks for reading my question but nothing has been solved as yet!
Amanda, I still don't know how to go to the one color - where do I go?
And Yvette, I have just downloaded from the link but it won't open because of the file extension or something??? HELP
just turn your pic to sepia, then adjust the hue and saturation until you have the color you want.
You can tweak the brightness and contrast too, if you need.
This is how *I* do it anyway! Hope that helps.

Thanks for that Amanda - it's so simple - just didn't think of doing it.
Do you ladies use DIP on its own to design your pages or is it more common to use kits?
Just interested.

Are you trying to open it by itself? This is a plug-in, you use it by going effects, plug-ins (change your plug-ins folder to where you unzipped Virtual Photographer if you have to), I've used it with DIP 9 & 10 in the past, never had a problem with it.
