Newbie question...Scraplifting?

Big time newbie question - What is "scraplifting?" - Is it using an idea from someone else's layout? :confused:

Scraplifting is anything from using an idea from someone's layout to as close a copy as you can make.

Scraplifting is encouraged because it is a great learning too. It is polite to give credit to the original scrapper when you post your layout to the gallery. You can do that best by including the URL (web address) in your description of the layout.
