View Full Version : I'm in Nov.05 issue of Up2Scrap!!

WOOOHOOO I am soo excited!! I know its only a little thing, but this is my first time ever submitting to a mag so i am quite excited!! I have had my layout accepted by NZ magazine Up2Scrap! It is for the theme "Good things come in Small packages" and is of my daughter (who is always teased for being short) sitting in a HUGE wooden chair in the grounds of Battle Abbey when we were in Uk at Xmas. Even better I used 'A Story To Tell' kit created by Meryl Bartho, so its a plug for DSP as well. Just had to tell someone!! LOL!!! :D

SUPER Donut - Im hoping more of us will submit digital layouts to Up2scrap - now that Im doing articles for them - Id like to see more of us represented in the layout section

Regarding posting the layout here, i have never submitted anything before so am unsure of the rules, am i right in thinking that i cant post it here until after it has been in the mag? Or is it the other way around and it can be here until the mag comes out? Or does it not matter and it can be here and there?! :confused:
Just a little new at this as you can tell! If someone can let me know that would be great!
Lauren - wouldn't it be great if the entire Readers Gallery in the Feb issue was Digital layouts by Kiwi/Aussie DSP members?! Using DSP products and giving credit to your tutorials too of course!!!...I am working on converting my friend to Digital, she had her paper layout on the cover of the current issue, and convinced me to submit mine, I am glad she did now!

Yep, thanks Cindy and Mandy... thats enough wind now thanks..yep.. you can stop now....been horrendous gales here the past 3 days...trees blown over, fences damamged..(ssshhh.. dont tell anyone it was all my fault asking you all to blow!!!) sadly it hasn't helped my camera arrive yet though, so maybe on to new tactics...! (and apologies to all in NZ for the recent gales..!!)

yes, you're right on the first one. don't post it anywhere until it the mag is out. then you post it "as seen in..." have fun! :)

I love it when members get published. I only wish I could see it, since I don't live in NZ or even close for that matter.......LOL

Way to go, Donut!!! It's so cool when dsp folks get their LOs published--I got started in digital scrapping when I saw some digital LOs in a digital issue of Simply Scrapbooks mag, so it's very important that the good word about digiscrapping gets spread far and wide. LOL
Can't wait to see your LO once you're able to post it!
And by the way, I LOVE your avatar of the baby lambs. So sweet!

The November issue of the NZ Up2 Scrap magazine is out and my little layout is in it!! Wooohooo!! I think now it's out i can post the layout in the gallery here - am i right?? Don't want to do it till i'm sure... Thanks to anyone who can let me know for sure!:D
