I don't know if this is the right place to post, but here goes. I know many of us have Baptism, Christening, Dedication, Naming Day pictures. Also some themes for our Jewish friends. I would love to see a few Layout Kits with some of those religious type themes. Also, Communion & Confirmation season is coming up, so that might be another thought. Also, maybe sone scouting themes, i.e. Brownies, Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc.
Thanks from the creatively challenged.
Hugs,
Jean

you can use elements from wedding kits!... the satins, whites etc.
I would love to see a few Layout Kits with some of those religious type themes.

sorry for the stupid questions....
If I buy a plopper I can just plug in pictures, and print copies, no changes to the layout at all. if I buy a kit I can rearrange, include any number of pics that I want, write my own titles, etc. I can then print pages, make changes, then print again as many times as I wanted.
That is what I understood by looking at them, but I wanted to make sure before I click checkout on my cart!
I am doing three books- one for each of the boys and one for myself. My pages end up similar, but not exactly the same. I try to focus more pics of each boy in their own album, then some of them with their brother. In my album I do pics of each individually, then of them together.
I am thinking with the kits I could put the picture boxes in, add Jake's pictures, then pics with his brother, print it out, then swap Jake's pics for Josh's and print that, then modify for my own album pretty easily. If that is the case I am sold on digital scrapping! LOL!
Another question (sorry!) can I take items from one kit and use them with another? Can the kits be used with the adobe software I am planning to buy?
sorry to have so many questions!!! Thanks! Marla

the forums are here for questions! :) yes, you have it down right. ploppers you just plop pics, no changes. kits you rearrange as you like. with kits or ploppers either one you could just swap pics and print. if you want to rearrange elements though, you'd want kits. and yes, in kits, the elements all come separately, so you can mix and match with other kits or collections of elements. and for adobe, if you get photoshop or photoshop elements, you're good to go! :)
Sounds just right! The nice thing about digi scrapping is you can easily swap photos, or just make a page with both boys and print two copies!
The last lessons in my Intro classes talk about usign premade elements and especially about cutting and customizing Ploppers. I had a contest a month or so ago called the Plopper Chop Crop where I gave away a free Plopper and challenged everyone to be creative with it. For a Plopper, we got an amazing array of results! Kits are definitely the way to go rather than cutting elements out of Ploppers, but Ploppers are so cheap and fast!
Anyway, all DSP products will work in whatever software you have: the file formats are universal like JPG (joint photographic experts group) and PNG (portable network graphic), so not software-specific formats.
You seem so ready and excited to get started! We're here for you, excited to help out! There are no stupid questions either. We try to make things as simple as possible, but there's still much to learn. Welcome!
