last year for Christmas I made our grandson Joshua a book for Christmas entitled "People Who Love Me" with each page featuring one of the people in his life. I then had it laminated (heavy) & spiral bound. Its been a great success, he loves to look through it. The pages can be seen on my page http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=24
in a folder labeled "People Who Love Me'

This also makes a great 'quiet book' for church or traveling. I made a Faraway Family book for my then-3yr-old to help her learn the names of aunts, uncles and cousins before a family reunion, and I was amazed at how much of our 6 hour flight passed in relative peace and quiet because of that picture book.

Its 5 x 8 - laminate - don't really know :) just asked our local shop to laminate with a heavy laminate. The binding was not a ripping success, comes apart too easily. But he LOVES the book!

I have made photo "books" for my grandkids using the small 4 x 6 photo albums.

I just looked at Meryls pages and LOVE the idea!

This is such a fabulous idea! I'm glad I started looking at older threads for some inspiration! My 11 month old LOVES looking at pictures of himself and family. What a cool idea.
