aaarrrggghhh eeekkk oh no
Please don't say the "c" word. "Christmas" I mean. I am already freaking out and it is only mid October. My mind screams that it is still September.

Yes...I am definately ready. I already have an idea but don't know how to put it together. My whole family went skydiving in April. There is a picture of all of us together afterwards. Having a picture of all of us is so rare. My thought was to use it and say something like The Kosanke Family is dropping in to wish you a Merry Christmas. The "dropping in" sort of referencing the skydiving. But I don't know if I should do a folded card, or maybe one of those rectangle picture type cards that fit in a regular envelope. And how to make it look at all Christmasy.

Thanks for the reminder. I definately need to move this up on my priority list!

I started mine this week.
I'm doing a montage card this year, I took some lovely photos of Kami dressed as a fairy, so I'm going to put Santa in there somewhere, the text (may change of course) is going to say, "Christmas is a Magical Time, a time for caring, sharing, a time for friends and a time for family" (something like that).
I'll laminate once printed and at the back I am going to attach "Magic reindeer food" (for the kiddies to have some fun), and I really hope none of my sa friends are reading this :P

I'm ready to start but have started 4 mini albums to give as Christmas gifts and think I'm being an "Over Achiever" at this point. :) Being new to this, I'm definetly being an over achiever.

I don't do cards. I do a Christmas Letter so I don't have to sign hundreds of cards. It used to be hundreds of cards for real, but isn't that many anymore since we retired and I'm not sending the letters out to everyone DH ever worked with.

But I am thinking about what I will do this year. Mostly my letters have been text, but I'm thinking more photos and less writing this year. I could even begin to put it together now knowing that I just need to leave room for one or two additional photos. Hum...

Lol, sounds like everyone isn't ready. If you find a kit Michele, let us know. I'm ready to start, but just not sure on how to start (if you know what I mean, lol).

I know Christmas letters have a bad reputation but I love getting them and send one instead of cards. The newsletters that include photos in them are especially nice. I've done mine in Word newsletter format before, but may have it look more like a scrapbook layout this year.

The year I didn't send out the letters I got complaints. Christmas letters might have a bad rap with some people, but I know I love the ones I get, and everyone seems to like the ones I send.

I guess it depends on how my syrup you add to the mix. Obviously everything you do isn't the best ever. I don't like the cheese smile some kids are taught to produce every time a camera is in someone's hand either. But real smiles, real news, and real enthusiasm is a whole different story. I try to keep it upbeat, but real, and it seems to go over well.

I've had my mock up done for about 1 month now. I always take a piece of typing paper and cut and fold etc...to make sure my idea will work. I always try to keep it to 1 piec of 8.5x11 paper or less to keep cost down.

I've started alittle designing it in photoshop and hopefully I'll have it finished by the end of the month.
