locating the desaturate function. I'm trying to make a black and white photo our of a colored one. Can someone assist. TIA Marilyn

It's written for PSE2 but I think it should be the same for PSE4
try Ctrl-Shift-U or Ctrl-U to desat all the color. Adjust>Color>Hue/Saturation in the menu

Emma and Flip thank you very much both worked. I now have black and white photos. Emma does DSU SP110 cover blending, erasing etc? I need to sign up for that class. Thanks again Marilyn
Yes, the Intro class covers blending, especially in Lesson 3 on making a montage layout/using masks. You want DSU 160, though, for PSE. 110 is for PS only. Would love to have you!

Emma, there is not a Dec class right for DSU 150 PSE4? I would love to take that class and espceially learn the montage !
only 2-week classes in December, busy month for people. 4-week classes just don't get enough students to warrant offering them, and the instructors usually have a busy month as well!
But you can sign up for it in advance, there should be several months in the drop down menu. Looking forward to having you!

ooh I wanted to know the answer to this as well. Thanks for asking! I'm in the PSE intro class now, DSU 160, and I highly recommend it whenever it's offered again (January I guess?)--- Emma is GREAT!

Emma do you have a 150 Class scheduled? I didn't see it on the schedule, or all we talking about 160?
150 isn't me, it's photography class on hiatus!
