So, do we post a link to our entry here? Or just upload the picture to the SIU gallery?

OK I am new but definitely up to this challenge for I desire some creative criticism but all have to remember that my editing software is fairly limited. I am going to get started and find which freebie I want to use for this!

This is my second version of this LO. I enlarged the photo, and also changed the shield/crest. They didnt look right by themselves, thus the matting behind them.

I wanted to use Suzanne's free background paper and since it's not a kit, I challenged myself to complete the LO using only items from the freebie gallery.

My second challenge (just to myself) was to use yellow. :)
Credits for everything from the freebie gallery:
Background paper is Suzanne Walker's "Beach Background"
Alpha is Jamie Rousell's "Beach Unbrella Alpha"
Ribbons and brads from Amanda's "Diva Page Kit" (recolored)
Tag - Lauren Bavin's "Set of Tags"
Journal paper - Valeri Bumfield's "Grungy Fallbacks" (recolored)
I hope this qualifies as a sort of kit since it's all from the freebie gallery...please let me know.

I was inspired by the Country Grunge kit and a close up of my daughter from a couple years back.

I thought I could slip an entry into the challenge before the end of the month, but this weekend is crazy here. I have my daughters 18th bday party on Saturday night, so tomorrow (Friday) I have to go and set up my mums backgarden. I'll come back for the December one, as NKOTB will be over then, and I'll need inspiration and CC's a-plenty. I know I'm going to miss the challenge of NKOTB and this SIU program looks ideal.
So see you in December!
