View Full Version : DET Boot Camp Questions?

I was wondering, is this an event that you can only be a part of if you've done the first 2 challenges? I really like the idea of getting some good feedback to some of my layouts to help me become a better scrapper. I just joined DSP in October and have recently just found my way to this forum so I'm really late - if this is for prizes, I'm not really interested in that as much as I am in getting the feedback. :D

So, long question short, can I be a part of the challenge too or do I need to wait until the next boot camp? :D

We just want people to try to do most of the challenges and leave comments on others layouts as their time allows!

The fourth challenge doesn't start for another week so in true Boot Camp version, drop and give me 20, then get over to this thread: Third Challenge (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8730) and start making a layout for the current challenge!! Plenty of time to get this one done!

I would love to join in as well. I just started scrapbooking, but I have alot of photoshop experience. I would love to make all of my pages from scratch in photoshop, without using pre-made kits. Is that ok? I know alot of these contests might include certain kits that are ready. I could learn to use pre made kits too, but I would like to know if it is ok if I do it from scratch.

I can't wait to get started! I am an instant addict!!!

Nevermind! I just read the third challenge. Ok, I will get started on that! Beautiful kit!

NoJiMom and VintageBeauty...you might also be interested in the Step-It Up Gallery/Challenge. You just post your layouts in the Step-It Up Gallery and get lots of good constructive feedback. And you don't have to use a certain kit, subject, or anything. So, maybe you'll want to do Boot Camp and Step It Up! Just thought you should know!

i think people usually use yousendit.com for sharing their private kits.

Sarah, only the designers can post to the freebies gallery. Most people here that want to share, upload a picture of their kits/elements to their own gallery and maybe post a link in the forum. Then anyone that wants it can leave a comment or email you and you can send it directly.

I can't wait to see what you have to offer!
