This looks fun! Can I jump in with mine? I have a hard time following directions and conforming with what everyone is suppose to be doing - I like doing my own thing, so here is my effort.
I really, really, really tried to stick with the directions.

Oh! There's some great stuff here. I was wondering a little if our layouts were going to look busy. But they're turning out so elegant.

I hope to get mine done tomorrow afternoon. I'm on a roll with a set of background papers and I'm going to keep going.

Here were my first two attempts (i know they don't qualify)
Attempt #1 (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1069&password=&sort=2&cat=500&page=1) This one I got pretty far then realized It didn't have a monochromatic color scheme.

Attempt #2 (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1072&password=&sort=2&cat=500&page=1) This time i got the color scheme down but not the black & white.

Why is this so hard for me? :p I'll keep trying :-)

A challenge like this makes me realize how many steps go into making a LO..
Most of it is just second nature now...

My crumpled vellum wouldn't crumple properly so couldn't upload yesterday, but I gave it a good kick and it works today, lol

Well,
I finally did it. I incorporated all the elements. The hard part was super imposing the mom into the picture. It made it easier to turn the picture b&w.

that was a hard challange. I never did finish mine, too many distractions going on here for some reason. I am glad to hear that you might do it again, hopefully next time I won't have so much going on at home, lol.
