False, thank goodness I have not been in a national disaster. In 1965
northern Indiana was torn apart by a horrible tornado which killed many lives.
It missed our house by about 5 miles. We were very fortunate.

Friday means the anna and deeya hour, the lyrical challenge, and one day until the Harry Potter Pass the Pixel. It also means the start of three whole days to scrap. (Am I addicted, I now plan all of my activities around scrapping.)

TNP has already topped of their gas tank, because prices are on the rise. Our gas is still $2.99 at 8:45 a.m. CST and is supposed to go up to $3.69 after 10 a.m. this morning.

Nope. I've had friends who have been MAC gurus, but DH needed to be able to do AutoCad and you can't do that on a MAC. (It isn't true that all graphic programs originated on the MAC. AutoCad, used by engineers mainly, has always been a PC program.)

I am not into football, but DH had to have not only Sunday Ticket, but the new add on that lets him look at 8 games on one screen. So the other half does love it.

I am finding it hard to balance life, spending time with my DH, and scrapbooking....about the only time I get is when he is at work or sleeping, so Saturday is the day (yea!!). I guess we are trying to make up for lost time, the first 21 years of our marriage, we hardly saw each other, so now when we do have the time to spend together I feel guilty if we don't. But I also absolutely love scrapbooking and am not able to devote the time to it that I would like.

TNP is planning to try new things regarding scrapbooking like using a different style than they normally use and stretch their skills.

For sure. Last night we listened to an audio tape in our small group. It was about keeping a balanced life not as an end in itself but as a means to the end of not spreading oneself thin to have the energy for the really important things. And upon reflection I realize I'm getting 'better' at it once I realized I don't have to be superwoman in all areas of my life! LOL!

TNP's greatest challenge in taking care of herself is taking time off from digiscrapping when she knows she ABSOLUTELY NEEDS to rest. :rolleyes:

Yes, that is one of the classes I am considering. Although I was an art major in High School and College, I somehow missed taking classes in design theory. And the local library literally doesn't have a single book on the subject, so I can't figure out if I can learn it on my own.
