Just a couple of thoughts.

Were you trying to make them facing pages?

If so I might take the blue background over from the journal page to an inch or two on to the other page and also make sure that the arrows lead from one page to the other.

I am not sure about the slanted mile post on the Photo backed page, especially as you already have it on the journal page.

It looks as though on your first page you have the picture on a layer underneath your blue vellum.... is that what you mean? Do you want your photo to show up as much as it does on the second page? If so you can just move the photo layer on top of the the blue or use a layer mask.

Hope this helps. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by one page looking like another??

These are a 2 page LO...one with pics and one the journaling...I just don't think they look like they go together...I like the ideal of having the arrows go from one page to the next...so I will change that...when I originally did the journal page...I was thinking to make it like it was just an enlarged few of the single pics from the pic page...but I couldn't make the pic large enough...to have it more dominent...but I am not even sure that would make them look like they "go together"...does that explain it any better...

One other thing which I often do is to build a double page spread as a single layout and then split it when you have both pages sometimes its easier to balance them together.

I think arrows going up both far sides (far left and far right) then across the bottom will really help to unify your pages. I'm afraid I don't use your program so I'm not sure how to enlarge a picture in it, however you should have a transform tool and if you have a square picture (or crop a picture to a square shape) you should be able to hold down the shift key (keeping your pic in proportion) pull on a corner and enlarge it to fit your page. You may lose some quality in the picture but if its a background it should be ok.

It looks like your pages are 12x12 so if you create a new document as 24 x12, you should be able to bring both pages into it and work on them as one page as Jane suggested ... that will help you tremendously because you can work on both together.
