I have the trial of pse4 -- I have noticed it really makes my computer run slower -- does anyone know of any fixes for this? I was planning on buying this for this computer -- but it seems to lag after I select to do something. . . my computer is not that old -- maybe I have too many things going at once?
(not all the forum start new threads are working so I am posting this here)

How much memory do you have?
Do any computer maintenance you think of, spywayre, adware, virus scans, hard drive defragging, and close down any other applications while you're using PSE. The amount of RAM and available hard drive space will determine how fast the program runs.
To find out, right click on the My Computer icon and choose Properties. There under Hardware tab you'll find your system specs to share with us

224 MB RAM, 1.05ghz, have a 40 GB Hard Drive and our drives are divided into partitions -- does that help?
