run, don't walk to see this movie!! it's the first time i remember a movie being better than the book! man i LOVE LOVE LOVED it!!!! they didn't try to outdo cs lewis (as if you could) they just made the movie and made it well! and man, the characters were perfect. the creatures were awesome. let's don't give anything away in this thread. i'll start another so we can talk about it, but wow!!!!!! josh (5) absolutely loved it. he screamed outloud once (with everyone else) and cheered outloud too. i can't say it enough, wow!! wow!!! :D
AND HEY JUST A CLUE! don't leave the theater when you think it's over! :)

Oh Margie - I loved the whole Naria series when I was a little girl and remembering watching a program on one of our public channels about it. In high school, we studied what the different characters meant as C.S. Lewis was quite a religious man. My daughter is now reading the series and she loves them (and is surprised that Mom being as old as she *her thoughts not mine* could actually recommend a good book she would like!). She was hoping to have the book done before the movie but well, she got sidetracked with another kid book - Harry Potter! :) I would like to take my girls but is it ok for a 5 year old? My little one has seen all the Star Wars movies but I didn't let her go to the last Harry Potter movie if that helps. Thanks!

I wondered when this thread would pop up! LOL! :p I saw the preview for the movie when I went and saw GOF and was in AWE! I can't wait to go see it. I may have to re - read the books again as well. LOL! It has been 20 years or so! LOL! :p ( Since the seventh HP book release isn't going to be coming anytime soon. :rolleyes: ) I am so glad Disney took on this one. Really smart move to come out now with so many new fantasy fiction movies out and popular right now. I just can't wait. If the preview was any indication of how wonderful the movie will be, then I know I will love it! I Get paid on Friday, just might have to treat myself!! :D

Going to see it tomorrow afternoon with my daughter. We wanted to fo Friday evening but it snowed here (9") and I couldn't get out. I bought tickets online yesterday to make sure we get in tomorrow. :o)
