I need a short quote about parents... I've looked on a ton of different quote sites and can't find anything that's right, except for a couple I've already used. I need something that's sort of from the adult child's perspective, looking back, kind of thanking the parent, or acknowledging that they were a great influence, something to that effect. Don't need anything having to do with babies or kids or advice or humor/sarcasm. Thanks!!

Time has shown that throughout the years when I needed your guidance you were there... So now as time continues on it becomes continually clearer how much of my success is directly resulting from your success as my parents.

No problem, you are very welcome. I like coming up with things like this. A very nice idea for a layout. Bet it will look great! Would love to see it when it's done if you share it here.
Here's what I found in the store search for parents word art, some fun quotes in the adoption set, many of them apt to adoptive or biological parents

Here's one from my mom, LOL!
"My parents always told me when they caught me doing something bad that, 'A little birdie told me.' So whenever I played outside I looked all over for that little bird, so I could kill it!"
whoa, violence at a young age, but it makes me laugh!
"As I watch my little children, I finally understand how much my own parents love me."

I love that! That is exactly (well, almost ;) ) what I said to my parents after the birth of my first! My words were, I now know that children can't love their parents as much as their parents love them. Children never knew of a time or place their parents didn't exist and how much they contribute to the world by their very presence.
Yeah, I didn't sound rather eloquent, huh? lol!
