Anyone has an Idea of a good digital scrapbook magazine. I'm looking for one that it will be good for beginners. I also would like to know if these magazine also work for photoshop CS.
I found one named scrapbook answers, each magazine comes with instructionsCD packed with exciting and useful content: how-to videos, fabulous font collections, high-quality photos you can use in a variety of projects, and a gallery of layouts. Anyone has an idea about this magazine? Is it worth to buy?
Thanks,
lizzie

Simple Scrapbooks has put out some digital issues that are good. Memory Makers has a digital issue. There is a Digital Scrapbook Magazine, and its also good. Scrapbook Answers in a great magazine - but isn't all digital. It has a bit that is digital, but is more geared for paper scrappers. I liked it because it was honest in its reviews and the CD is a cool feature.
If you are wanting to learn how to us PSCS, I would really suggest just taking a class here and doing some tutorials. You'll learn more that way than with any magazine.
HTH!
there are two monthly digital mags, one print and one pdf only...maybe 2 pdf mags now
Magazines are fun, and a good resource. I agree with Amanda, that as a starting point, to get the most out of a mag, getting started with a class would be a better investment, then sub to the mag in a few months
She listed some great ones, let us know what you decide to do! Have you done the First Page tutorial for PS yet? Great place to start

Speaking of magazines on digital scrapbooking, do any of you Aussies out there know where we can purchase them down under. None in my town!
Wow, I have just noticed I have "not so common place" under my name. does this mean I have been promoted???

I am interested in taking a class but have already created a few digi lo's. Do you suggest I still take the intro course?
If you've been scrapping less than a year, especially less than 6 months, the Intro class will most likely be something you'll get a lot out of.
Take a peek at the syllabus for the class you're interested in, and let us know if we can help you decide once you see that.

I am interested in taking a class but have already created a few digi lo's. Do you suggest I still take the intro course?I made about 100 layouts in 5 months and then took Emma's intro class and could have kicked myself for not taking it sooner. It was invaluable. Shortcuts, explanations, tools I had not used - - - all covered. :)

what is the difference between the intro course that Emma teaches and DSU 190? Thanks.

DSU 190 is a design class - it covers layout design but doesnt cover the technical aspects of using your graphics programme to create a layout- DSU 190 is equally applicable to all programmes but it assumes you have a reasonable knowledge of your programme
