I did several loads to tweak the recipe. I ended up adding some more softener.

There were air raid drills in school, summer evenings, winter nights. We had the basement windows totally covered in case we had to go down there we didn't have to be in darkness. Summer drills we usually sat on the porch while the wardens came around checking for any pinpoints of light that might give us away to enemy planes. Our town housed a huge chemical complex so we considered ourselves a possible target city. I recently found a folded and bound cardboard in my baby book that was a fake bomb dropped during one of those drills saying that if that was found on our property we needed to report as a "hit" and our house would have been damaged in a real raid. Sort of scary as I look at it but it was all a game to a 4-6 year old.

When I was looking at this on the way to work and explaining it to my DH using words like, flatties, granny thread, Sands, and Oman and then I said this is making sense to you is'nt it? And he said frightengly so! very funny

Getting a little worried now.......it is impossible for me to lift my left arm more than a few inches.....every time I try, it makes me scream.....and I am not a screamer.....I am more your "suffer in silence" kind of person. Think I will put some ice on it and hope that it is better tomorrow.....

As my dear departed orthopedic surgeon once told me: Once you get to a "certain age", you are apt to have a rotator cuff injury when you fall. I was lucky since my was a "only" labral tear. Don't tarry if you are in pain too long; get it checked out.
