Did he work at the Indianapolis GE Facility? OBT visited that for Ford several times.

Speaking of stress...DD#1 is here and has about undone everything I had all ready. She is ensconced in the guest room with her carload of clothes and other belongings, including her little cat. The guinea pig and cage are in my computer room and he kicks his bedding all over the place. The kitchen!!! I can't even FIND my countertops.

I have 2, that is TWO, days between her leaving and Sandy and family arriving. The housekeeper will be here for her monthly visit the morning they are due. I have threatened DD if she leaves the house in the mess.

Only good thing is that my scaped tables have kept her from loading her belongings on the tables.

I will be super stressed before she leaves. She actually asked why I had to have THOSE PEOPLE here. Like I don't get a LIFE that doesn't include her.

This could be a looooooong couple of weeks.

Freezing here too Vallie and pouring with rain. Weather forecast for the weekend is single digits too - brrrrr!!

I am off to do my second babysitting gig this weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) so I think the children and I will have cabin fever by Sunday night as I do not plan on leaving the fire all weekend!! Will have to occupy them with lots of craft activities and cooking. DD is off to Brisbane for a friend's wedding and SIL is off to Sydney to shoot a wedding for a bridal magazine.

Last week I babysat for four days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) as they went to a friend's wedding in Adelaide and SIL was the photographer.

When I come home on Sunday night I will only be home for one day. Have to be back there early Tuesday morning as DD and SIL fly to Hawaii for nine days. All expenses paid trip for them so SIL can shoot a wedding there and they can have a little R&R.

And then when they come home Nanna is going to crawl into her bed and collapse!!!

No, LauraLou, he worked at Appliance Park in Louisville one year and then spent 30 years at the Bloomington, IN assembly plant, where they make side-by-side refrigerators.

Bless you. I would go nuts with all that clutter. Of course, I am one of those people.

OBT was involved with GE bulbs for the heaadlights and taillights for which he was responsible. No fridges in cars, I guess.
