QuOTD 6/19: Breaks!
Do you take breaks from scrapping on purpose or does life dictate when you have a break?
********info! I will be out of town Thursday 6/21 - Monday 6/25....then July2nd my son will be admitted to the hospital for 3-5 days for an epilepsy study, I won't be around then, so QuOTD is on hold, unless someone else would like to post some, feel free!!!!***********

Life! Things take a turn in a heartbeat and sometimes your priorities have to shift. I don't scrap nearly as much as I would like to these days (work, family, travel and health issues) but I know I will get back into the swing of it. So I keep buying kits anyway

Life...and inspiration. I feel like I've been on a break for a looooooooong time. Mostly because I'm busy and I feel uninspired. When I get home from work, it seems like too much work to start a layout and none of my photos get me excited. I like lots of journaling and I just don't feel up to writing a lot when I get home.
Oh and my other hobbies determine my scrapping breaks as well. If I'm quilting a lot, I'm usually not scrapping (and vice versa).

Like you all, it's mostly life for me. Or if I don't have any pics that I want to scrap then I'll just lurk here and post!!!

Retired now, plenty of time, so if I take a break it is usually lost mojo or inclination
Best wishes with the epilepsy study of your son

Right now life dictates when I take a break. Working full-time, family, two grandchildren 8 minutes away, gardening, photography and horses take up a lot of my time. So I scrap when I have little bits and pieces of time, that takes a toll on creativity though. I occasionally take a break on purpose when I get creatively burnt out.

What's a break? I think the longest I've gone without scrapping since I started is 9 days (part of which was a vacation). I'm sure I will take a longer break one day, but for now I like to do something most days.

many of my breaks are dictated by life. Though from time to time I follow a different muse which then helps me when I come back to scrapping.

I'm on a "break" right now (though I'd prefer NOT to be!) because life is just a little hectic. I feel pretty good though about the direction things are heading, so though I'm very sad that I'm not scrapping all the time any more, I know I'll be able to again soon, once some of the priority projects around the house are done.
