I just found this thread too... I'm 32, full time Radiation Therapist, mama to an 8 and 10 year old (who seem to want to do every single extra curricular activity possible!), wife to an amazing husband, and an aunt to 4 absolutely spectacular kiddos! I try to create whenever possible... I used to do a lot more paper crafting... but the time and space it commands is just too much. I love being able to sit at my computer after the children are in bed and create. Anyhow, I haven't been able to read all the posts here, but plan on going through a lot of them! I love DSP and I can't wait to get started with the challenges... Thanks for the opportunity to be part of a great community!

I'm a thirty-something with kids but no job--that counts, right? LOL! I'm Heather, and I have 2 boys, 9 and 5. I moved at the end of last school year, leaving my job of 10 years as an elementary music teacher behind. This year, I'm hanging out with my 5-yo at the end of his half-day kindergarten and doing a lot of laundry and cooking. I've been trying to establish some sort of scrapbookery business, I just haven't found my niche yet. If I can figure something out, I can avoid having to re-up my teaching certificate and work from home or open up a shop if things go in a different direction. Life is good.

HELP!! I went back to school last year to start my MBA and fell over a year behind in my scrapping...it's gotten so bad I've almost stopped taking photos so I won't have too much to catch up on...
I need a good kick in the butt to get things moving while I'm on break for the next few weeks...does anyone want to be my "support" to urge me forward while I get through my slump? I am in desperate need of inspiration and motivation (chocolate helps too!).

I'd say try to scrap one photo a month.
Hi I'm Kiana, wife, mommy to 3 (17, 8 & 7) and student, and digital scrapping addicted, when I have time!!

I've had the same problem. I've been teaching full-time and working on my master's degree this year. Now that school's out for the summer, I'm hoping to get some pages caught up before my summer classes start on June 25. Maybe we could cheer each other on!

In my experience... just cruising around the galleries here is sometimes just enough to give me some motivation and inspiration... and when it's really bad, I do a scraplift or use a quick click!
I'm wishing you some chocolate and lots of good inspirational thoughts!!
Oh, and keep taking pictures! It'll eventually get done
Can't wait to see your layouts... which will in turn be inspirational for all of us!

Hello everyone I would love to join this thread. I am 31 years old with a 2 year old and 10 month old. I just started (within the last 3 months) doing the digital scrapbooking thing, so far I love it. It allows me to work on pages when I only have 30-40 minutes free from time to time (no more pulling out all of my supplies to put them away after working for 10 minutes)!!!!

Somehow I missed the last discussion! I agree that if you are short of time, use a quick click or scraplift, or even just try to speedscrap a couple of times a month.
Welcome klgossia!
