I tried a few different things with this shot, not all of them successful. I shot with a tripod and remote and managed to focus properly; however, in my attempt to blow out the background (there is a large window with lace curtains behind me) I overexposed the table and blew out part of my reflection (BOO!).

My end result is fairly simplistic, but there is no denying that this challenge was hard!

This was taken with just the overhead lighting in my bedroom, using my little Canon Powershot. I desaturated, softened it a touch and adjusted the levels a bit.
