Colour Challenge #8, August 2012: Colour Maze
A random selection from my colour inspiration folder produced this fairly muted palette. They're quite old-fashioned looking colours which is a happy coincidence for Family History Month but you can use them in any manner you like. Heritage, retro or modern - you choose.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to produce a layout inspired by the colour palette for the month. You do not need to use exactly those colours but as close as possible without adding in any others. You don't need to use all of the colours.
Look through your stash, rediscover old friends and mix and match your kits to fit the palette.
Share your matching finds in the thread to help out your fellow scrappers.
Twist your favourite designer's arm and talk them into making a matching kit.
If you're not doing double duty with another challenge then please post your layouts to the Color My World Gallery and make sure you link them in this thread.
CHALLENGE UPDATES:
Gimme More Challenge - Week ending August 19th - Lives Remembered - double up your challenges and get a posting bonus too.
Lauren has created a new kit from this colour palette, it's perfect for all the heritage challenges this month.

Other Kit suggestions

Here's a kit by Nicole that goes well with the color scheme:
And here is one by Christine:
These kits actually go really well together because they were a part of Multiplicity. That said, there should a couple of other kits that match. I'll have to look that up. . .

Now I realize exactly how lazy I am.......McB, the kits you posted do not have active links.....you mean I actually have to go to the store and look for them myself?????
