I agree with Colonial Williamsburg, Lauren!
How far up are you going in the states?
Hope everyone in here is doing well I baked 84 cupcakes for a birthday party last night (finished filling/icing them today)!
In just a couple hours my mother in law is coming out to watch The Hunger Games with us. I hope it's not as woozy inducing as it was in the theater!
Tomorrow I have to run Tate up to his girlfriend's family reunion. Wooo... meeting the relatives!!!
Sitting down with my friend Steph and finishing up trip planning. We leave in 15 days! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey now. Don't be making fun of the drawl. My DGD decided that WE don't have accents, the rest of the grannies at the GGGT had accents.

If we fly hawaiian airlines then the drive from dc to orlando will be on the list. - - - if we fly airnz - then we will skip that and do disney in LA

If you drive south from DC to Orlando, you need to take in some of the coast along the way. Stop in Charleston, SC or nearby Beaufort, SC and maybe Savannah, GA to soak up some history.

I was just thinking.....I think that it would be far more enjoyable to take a leisurely drive from DC to Florida than to fly CA., but I cannot decide which one would be the most economical...........

Yes a drive down would require a drive back as well but I have multiple reasons to go to Florida .I just need to convince Steve that! .
We originally were going to do that but we changed our mind for some reason. I can't remember why now.
Steves wants to visit Norfolk now I mentioned that to him .
I know we need to do NY and Boston etc . id wanted to do the northern states but that was more because of fall colour so not really applicable in April/may .
I like scenery, architecture, culture differences ,history when I travel .obviously with Hannah coming things will need to change a but from what id normally do . fitting in Hershey might be good for her .
I bought a lonely planet guide book and am barely into it and already have a long list .. The zoo in DC and the aquarium in Baltimore sound like musts ... of course the obvious places in DC too .. including several of the museums . .
As I get further through the book I realise how much I just will have to miss !!

Ooh, the cherry blossoms in DC are supposed to be awesome, but we missed the timing this year. We missed a TON in DC and were there two weeks! We're getting used to missing things because we're seeing how much there is to see. Hannah would love Hershey.

We missed you by a few days......we were in Washington at the end of March. I did not go to Arlington cemetary, but Doug and Bia did and they said that it was very moving.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Roanna. I love to scrapbook and do papar crafting but I've stopped for some time now.
Well, I've just recently stopped my part time job and am happy to be able to go back into scrapbooking now and also some paper crafting. But the weird part, now that I've stopped working I seem to have lost my creative juices! Lolz...
I am so glad that I came across DSP while surfing the web for inspirations. I am really inspired to see such amazing pages and am excited to get myself going on some soon too!
Have a blessed day! *hugs*

Welcome Roanna! Just like you, I hadn't scrapped in about 2 years. Initially, it was medical reasons, but then my mojo just went west. I re-found DSP just a couple of weeks ago, and it's helped so much. Everybody here is so friendly! If you have a question about anything, somebody will answer it right away (probably 10 people will answer right away!) Join in some challenges and come to some of the chats. There's something going on all the time. You'll have your creative juices back in no time!
