Help with PSE5

Hi! I'm pretty new to digital scrapping & I'm trying a free trial of PSE5. So far, I like it best, I'm assuming some of it will take some getting used to. The big thing I'm having trouble with is how do I find my own downloaded art & graphics? I see how I can use their backgrounds and texts, but how can I use my own graphics? I have them all on my computer, organized in folders & have been able to get to them with other trials, just haven't figured out this one. Maybe it's easier than I'm thinking.. it's also late & I'm tired.

There are a number of ways. One is use file, open and find the file you want, then click open. Another is have windows explorer also open on your computer and you can then view the thumbnails there and drag and drop the ones you want into the PSE5 tab at the bottom of your screen, when it open pull it up into the work area and let go (it is quicker than it sounds). I used to do it that way, now I usually use ACDSee a filing programme but the same concept.
