Some unknown force made me go to the store today and buy stuff - mostly word art. While I was there I discovered Lauren's very cool brushed on quick bits. Can't wait to try them!!!

Wish me luck please ladies, I have a serious detal appointment in the morning - I'm scared. It will either be minor surgery or an extraction. I'm hoping we go for the latter since the surgery has only a 1 in 3 chance of success.
Anyway, I have part one of round 4 done - to create a LO using the kit I designed for Round 3 if you've time to peak.
I'll come back tomorrow to report on what happened at the dentist.

I was a millionaire for a day, I got one million dongs at the ATM! They have Ho Chi Minh on the money in Vietnam (he looks like Colonel Sanders!)

Thanksgiving dinner will be at my house this year. For the last several years it has been at the OD's daughter's farm, but she moved to a small apartment. It finally fell to me...after all, I am retired, right?
Well, I had little Abagael since last Tuesday when they called me to pick her up at the school. She has had diarrhea since then. The Dr said it is going around and takes about 10 days to clear. Sure enough, as my daughter was getting ready to take her in to the Dr. again, everything came out normally...just like the Dr. said it would.
This weekend was spent with my sister-in-law at a card making get-together. I didn't get home until Sunday afternoon. Then back to childcare today. Finally, after they left for the Dr. office the Old Dear and I did our grocery shopping. Then cleaned the fridge. Oven will be cleaned tomorrow along with other cleaning duties.
I was going to have help from my daughter after Wednesday noon (half day of school) but, unfortunately, her husband's dear aunt died this morning. That will take the next few days for visitation and funeral. We will be going, too.
The Old Dear's aunt was found unresponsive on her floor this morning and might not make it.
The muscles in my back are already stressing out. I wonder if all of my 10 guests will even be here.
JaeDee, prayers winging their way for your mother.

How sad about R's aunt. Was this kind of a deja vu feeling for you?
We are going to funeral tomorrow for the father of a member of our Sunday school class. He requested a donation to two charities instead of flowers and we got a link that made the donation very quick and easy to do online.
We are invited to these same friend's house for Thanksgiving along with another couple from our class. Should be a nice day and I hope having us around is helpful for them.
Is anyone here sending out electronic Christmas cards/newsletters this year? A friend, the one with the new Mac, wants to do this and wants me to help her. Could be a fun project with animations and such in it. I'm open to suggestions to pass along to her.

My water used to run out often when my eldest son was living here, now there are 5 instead of 6 it seems okay so far. But we all take quick showers except for number 2 son who takes forever making himself beautiful in there!

Wow you will not believe this
Dear Grannie Friends,
Long time since I have posted. Things have become a big blurr in my life.
I will not be having back surgery as planned in December now.
Two days after returning to Spokane from Seattle I ended up in the hospital in the ACU. My daughter and I was driving home from the bank when I had one of those attacks that I have been having off and on the past year and a half. We pulled over and she called a ambulance that took me to the hospital where they discovered that I have been passing blood clots all this time. I have them in both lungs and my right leg. They almost lost me and I feel very blessed that I had such good care and am continueing to have good care through my daughters and the medical community.
I am now back at my daughter's house in Spokane and have daily appointments to the antiquaglant Clinic and Drs. offices.
I will probably be going back to Seattle the Sat. after Thanksgiving. My daughter has appointments with a Hemotoligist Oncologist Endrocrinologist that Specializes in Blood Clots and tumors. I am never left alone right now so it is nice to be with family.
I will keep you posted, I feel quite good right now and they are keeping he pain down pretty well.
I really doubt that I will be able to attend the laptop crop in SLC but miracles do happen!
Of coourse I have no idea what is going on in the DSP site right now but will try to catch up a little at a time.
I think of you all often and talk about my Granny friends to everyone.
I want to do some scrapbooking soon.
Prayers going out to all of you and Watch out for that beautiful Sun each morning and remember I am seeing it too.
Love, Carma

Need snow
To any of the grannies who have snow photos !!
To complete a project I need snow photos... thick snow, dusty snow, on trees, on brick/stone walls, covering fields...anything ! It's for BK and foreground ovrlays for a crazy family christmas card. We ( the family in the photo) and I are getting down to the wire timewise and there's no snow !
Could you please help me ? Send anything you feel comfortable with to
mamamolar@cox.net
I appreciate your help and time ! And I'll show you the card when I'm done....

Carma- so sorry to hear of these events, but on the good side, at least you now know what the problem is/was and are receiving the care you need ! Praise the Lord for that ! Hope you continue to heal and feel better.
