Wacom Eraser - Photoshop CS2

Hi all,

Well, I finally took my Intuos3 6x11 tablet out of its box.

I hooked it up and am immediately able to draw in Photoshop CS2. I'm a happy camper.

However, when I turn the pen around, hoping to erase my marks, it just makes more marks... it doesn't switch to "eraser" mode.

I'm hoping somebody here knows how to change a setting. I've looked at the Wacom control panel and I can see how to change the eraser from soft to firm, but no luck in making PS recognize it as an eraser.

Any tips?

Thanks much!

In CS2 change from the brush tool to the eraser tool...

Or just hit the E for Eraser

Hi Debilou, thanks for answering.

I called Wacom and spoke to a VERY nice representative... he helped me.

Basically, I just had to reset CS2:

I double-cliked the icon and RIGHT after (It took me a couple of tries!) you double-click, you mash down the CTRL-SHIFT-ALT at the same time.

This deletes/resets the presets, etc.

It works like a charm now.
