Didn't know this thread exisited.. Great idea.. I have found myself searching hi and low for brushes with hand drawn sloppy lines, squares and circles. If I was better at using my tablet I would create them myself but I stink at it...

I am missing some of the retired DSP Designers products, such as Becky's Bent Frames, Lisa's stitches, fold overs and torn edge templates....Of course I still have these things in my stash but cannot use them for anything that states DSP products only.

Jill please ask in each challenge if former dsp designer products are allowed or not. In some they certainly will be. DSP is proud of all past, present, and future designers and stands by any DSP product.
In some challenges it might not be allowed only because DSP can't offer former designers' products to new members/shoppers - in that way it might seem as though we are teasing, and we wouldn't want that. But by all means it isn't across the board so please ask if there is something you bought here that you want to use in a challenge! Thanks - good question!

Yes as far as Im aware there are only a few challenges where we limit to current DSP designer products. - apart from that feel free to use everything youve purchased whenever you want!!
Having said that please do keep making suggestions for any product you feel is missing from our current line up!!!

I had Inspiration Station in my mind when I posted that, and yes, I do still sometimes use past designer products that I own but I prefer to use current designer stuff when I am able . Im thinking Rene may not be back (all my LOs I had in her gallery were moved back to my own recently) and I like her "Scrap Heap" series.

So glad you brought up the subject of retired designers and goodies.. Nice to know most challenges allow retired goodies but still would be nice to see new sets of torn edges, fold overs, stitichings and frames... I am sure newbies would appreciate them as well as us old dogs..

Wow, cool thread!!
I would love to see a "love" kit, but not just any love kit! I would love to see a kit with really special word phrases regarding love, shooting stars, nothing too cute or frilly but something even my husband could look at and go "Wow!"

I'm sometimes "peeking" at other shops...
And what I like more and more is more realistic elements...like using materials right out of nature
like this..

There is a new recipe exchange forum being started. I need help in making cards that will work in the forum. Some decorations or headers for the cards would be nice too.

I would love an instant album or recipe card kit... something just to fill in the recipes, maybe in 5x7 or 6x4 or standard smaller size for printing.

Confession time. I bought recipe card templates from another shop (One I only buy from every year or two). The one template I tried really didn't work all that well. Since the number of ingredients and length of instruction varies by recipe, it's just as easy to treat it like a blank canvas.
And I promise never to stray again.
Except I also have two Mexican kits from that "other" place. I would love, love a DSP Mexican-themed kit.

I would be so very happy to see a kit based off the classic fairytale Snow White & Rose Red. Two rose trees, one with red and one with white... different forest elements... clusters of jewels... maybe even the bear walking through the woods in a background paper
