World English Dictionary
tranquillity or sometimes ( US ) tranquility (tręŋˈkwɪlɪtɪ)

You spelled it like the rest of the world does. It's just that we in the US (sometimes) spell it differently. Like "colour" and "color". Thanks for the language lesson. I didn't know this one!

Now I see why I couldn't translate this word. The translation site "said": "the word tranquility doesn't exist. I just entered it with the double "l" and now it worked.

@Cheryl. Just in case you wanna learn some Dutch too. It's "rust" in my language.

LOL---Leave to me to name a kit a word that is only known in the United States. Sorry. I'm actually a horrible speller and rely on an online dictionary to check my spelling or Nekobus as she normal catches those things. The dictionary said it was good so I believed it. I never thought to check it with one "l".

I had a Dutch grandmother, so it's great to learn a Dutch word. So I say, "I really need some rust in my life!" Hmmmmm.......somehow the it doesn't translate right when I write it !
