A little help needed with Mac

Hi
Can someone please help me. I´m trying to reesize a layout to post in the gallery but really have no idea how to do that on my new Mac. is there something like "irfanview" for a Mac or is there an easy way to do this.
Thank you all for your time and hopefully help.

Which program do you use to create your LO?

I usually just resize mine (in CS or PSE..whichever Im using at the time) to 8x8 and 72 for resolution, and than just keep the slider under 125. Thats been easiest for me.

I see in your signature that you use PSE6, do you have that for the mac too? 'Cuz I always use the "save for web" feature in PSE. I click "file -> save for web", resize the LO to 600pixels by 600 (click apply), and then go up to the section right under the help button. See where it says preset - click on the arrow all the way to the right, it should say "optimize to flie size", highlight and click that. I put in a desired file size of 120k, you can put in any number up to 125k since that's the max DSP will allow to upload. Then click OK, and once it has resized the LO, click OK at the top of the "save for web" window, and save it!!

Once you have used the optimize option once, it stays set with what you put in there, and is really fast to use. Just make sure you resize to 600 pixels first!

That's how I got my copy too!! How do you like your tablet?? I must say I haven't used mine much. People here say to put away your mouse and only use the tablet for a week, then you will never go back to your mouse.....but I haven't tried that yet!! Someday.......

Lauri, that was how I learned to use my tablet too... I can't think of a better way.
I never use a mouse anymore and when I have had to (like on the other PC in the house or at my parents home) I find it so annoying, I wish I could walk around with a portable tablet and pen in my purse, LOL!!!

My biggest problem with the tablet is that I don't really have any place to put it. My keyboard is on a tray under my desk top, and there's only enough room on that tray for it and a mouse...the tablet is way too big! And if the tablet is on the desktop, it's not comfortable to use. I use my keyboard way too often to get rid of it (all those shortcuts I've memorized) so....I'm in a quandary!!
