Making a weekly date with my kiddos to take them out for ice cream or a park.
And cleaning my house and keeping me company while I was on bedrest.

My Dad was a perpetual Peter Pan, always playing pranks and laughing when he got caught,
I remember the water fights between him and my uncle
they were a delightful duo to watch but woe betide you if you got involved once they were at their games.
I expect neither of them quite grew up when they got together. I loved that part of my childhood.

My dad is a car nut, has always been. What can I say, he likes cars, trucks, anything with wheels.
I can remember Mom, and my siblings sitting in dealership waiting rooms playing with the kid toys while he would bargain on vehicles.
Not much has changed over the years... He visits the car shows any chance he can get! And, I try to enjoy that with him. :)
