Thanks for the warm welcome. Not many people know off pat where Oman is, so don't feel alone. I'm South African, living here while DH has a contract constructing a Methanol Plant in the Port of Sohar. We dive off the Daymaniyat Islands, and its awesome there. I'm envious that you've done the Alexandria Dive.... I so want to do that and include with it the Palace of Cleopatra which they found now too.

I'll give diving with Great White's a miss thank you. Although South Africa also offer such opportunities for the "loose headed people"

My fat self does not even possess a swim suit anymore. Fat self can float really well but swims like a rock! Too funny Vallie, my sentiments exactly. Cage Diving or not!!! Oh and Ditto on the Fat Self thing.... They have to carry an extra bag of weights for me especially when we go diving!!!

Here I am, and although it will change pretty quick, I wanted to post my 3000th post in the Granny thread!

I've been having such an exciting morning! Moved all my kits to my EHD to try to regain some space on my computer, and have been opening the sale items I bought last week and organizing those. Can you say tedious?

For now, WOS until I can get caught up and read all the posts...!

Oh Scamp.... be careful with that EHD..... I did just that, and then it was dropped and I lost everything.... in the process of sending it to the UK to a data recovery company who will see if they can recover my files.... so please be careful with it, unless you've got a double backup!!!

I did this layout last night for Irene's challenge and I used Nicole's lovely Brownie Points backpack- also the photo I used has bittersweet memories because it was the last time my mother visited my sister who still loves in Holland, my mother passed away a few years after this photo was taken and the young girl - my niece standing in the background was killed in a head on smash when she was only in her early 20's. This is the only photo that I have of her.
