Here is another layout from African Safari Wildlife Park. Jakey's mom got us a season pass so we go lots. Part of it is a drive through area where the animals come right up and stick their heads in the windows! That's a little scary for me! Anyway, I will probably be scrapping many more of these photos in the future so Meryl's kit came just at the right time!!

Double back up, yes indeedy! I now have 2 EHDs--one for kits and pages and the other for complete back up! I was waiting on the second EHD to do this. I have regained so much space on my C drive! (And I remember when you posted about that, Sands--one of the incidents that got me off my patootie to get this done! I hope you get it back!!)
I also plan (and don't we all ) to burn my pages to a cd. I keep putting it off because I'm wanting a dvd burner--and that's really no excuse, because it's easy enough to do again. And, yes, I know I should burn my kits as well, and my photos, and and and...
I have ACDSee, and have spent the entire day moving, organizing, tagging (but not extensively) and clearing out those kits from CIJ. Now if I weren't so tired, I'd scrap something!!
Lindy, Grand Marnier (grän' mär-nyā') is a liqueur created in 1880 by Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle. It is a kind of triple sec, made from a blend of true cognacs, distilled essence of orange, and other ingredients.
Grand Marnier is about 40% alcohol (80 proof). It is produced in several varieties, most of which can be consumed "straight up" or can be used in mixed drinks.
(I had to google it to get that much information!! )
I'm off to my Uncle's 75th birthday celebration! Mexican food at a wonderful restaurant...yum!

Well, Kay Dear, it's a microwavable bag of Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet Popping Corn. Quick...Hurry...Don't Dwaddle...Scoot...Go, go, go...What are you waiting for? Get off your arse and go to your nearest market and buy each and every box/bag/carton of Orville that you can find!...
Because...I work for the company that makes it and the more you buy, the more our stock prices go up; and the higher our stock prices get, the better our 401k's perform; and the better our 401k's perform, the more money I'll have for retirement; and the more money I have for retirement, the sooner I can QUIT MY JOB!
What are you doing still sitting there, Woman, skidoodle on down to that market! NOW!

Kasha- don't worry you are not alone in your "weird" dislike for chocolate! I am right there with you!!!
Hello Sands_healy! Welcome!
Ok, I had to just check in and see how everyone was doing! Back to Harry Potter...DH was such a good sport last night and went to Barnes and Nobles with me for 3 hours to get the book, it was a riot seeing all these kids (and adults) dressed up and running around with stuffed owl and wands! Pretty humerous stuff! I stayed up until 4am reading but couldn't make it any longer! I am over halfway done. On page 440!!! Not going to finish tonight, but maybe tomorrow!!! Have a great night!!!

I redid the Savannah layout with Club Digital DSP material and put it in the DSP Gallery: My Name is Savannah 2
II love our new rule. I saw and commented on some awesome layouts this morning. I might have missed them otherwise. I just don't take the time to wander through the galleries like I want to.

Love your layout Laura! That statue in the cemetery is so famous now because of being on the cover of that book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". Glad they have put the original in a museum for safe keeping before someone nicks it. I loved that book, so odd and strange, like me!!
Hi Sands!!! I didnt know you were a Selth Efrikan like Kaybelles. I bagged Kaye something awful when the Bokkies lost, now it is my turn to hang my head, as the Wallabies got done in by the All Blacks!! I read before about your hard drive woes. All your beautiful work gone You take such breathtaking photos, I hope some can be retrieved from your EHD. I really need one of those but seems like 2 might be better. That is the problem with anything portable, it can easily get knocked over or stolen. My cats are a bit pesky, I can imagine them knocking it off the desk. They steal my makeup all the time, although what Felix wants my lipstick for I dont know! He has had his operation maybe he is confused!
Is this a post or a waffle?

Well, for all the Grama Elsie fans out there, I have yet another layout starring this wonderful woman! And I hate to say this, for those of you who are getting sick of seeing her and hearing about her, when I finally get up to my aunt's house when she is completely recovered, I will get tons more new photos of Grama!!! Won't that be fun!!!
I love this picture of Grama in this layout. I've done it before and didn't quite like it. I'm not sure I like it here either but we'll see; maybe it will *grow* on me! But I do love what it represents! We used to do this to her ALL the time! Our moms would even tell us not to or would tell her to hurry up so we couldn't or whatever, but we always managed to do it! I think she kind of looked forward to it after a while - that's just the kind of person she was - she loved to hear us "giggle and go on" as she would say!

Here are the links to the 1st 2 LO's I did today and posted:

Thanks for all of thw onderful comments on my LO's yesterday. Helps the ego when you are all so kind.
Loving all the links to your LO's in the thread. It really helps to have them in one place.
Hugs and red threads.
