Oh, Carma. Yes, yes, we needed this reminder. You are such a gentle and sweet spirit here. Thank you for your wonderful story and example.

Carma and JD, just in case you haven't heard, President Hinckley passed away this evening. I am sure you are like me mourning for us, but overjoyed for him. Love ya!

It is so sad about President Hinckley! I'm happy for him but sad for us. My husband and I were talking and he was like a young boy trapped in an old mans body. He was happy and lively. He will be sorely missed.

Yes, exactly, it is just such a shock to me, because I was just thinking this last week how he was still so active and doing so well, despite being 97. I fully expected him to make it to 100 and beyond.
Great to see you again, Jenny, love your new avatar.

Wish I had recognized that when they were 18 -- would have saved me a lot of guilt. But then Guilt IS My Life.

I would love some nice wood frames if possible. But I don't want to have to get a loan to buy them. What to do.....?????

My DD found some nice 8x8 wooden frames at Aaron Brothers -- they were part of my Christmas gift.

Thank you all so much for the kind words. I posted that message just as we were leaving the beach to come home and worried all the way that it was too preachy and intrusive. So I especially appreciate everything everyone said.
Re the phone, I loved spending hours on the phone with close friends when I was a teenager. But have disliked the phone my whole adult life and avoid it with everyone except immediate family. I think it's partly that I can explain myself more easily in writing. My friends all laugh because I'm so talkative normally, but they humor me and only make short phone calls when an email won't do.
