Oh, it was my grandfather's name, and whenever I griped about it, mom would mention that I could have been called by his other name - Herman!

I used to get called Vicki a lot, because my name started with V and people assumed that was what it was. Been called Vera too, they are nothing like Valerie! Valerie is not a very common name in Aus, I think it is more common overseas.

Vallie, I like your ploppers and I see Karen now thinks she will be able to make some on her lap top too while she is waiting on a new desktop ..... I would hate to be without out my desk top for long!!
