Brushes turned into Black circles Help

Ok I was tring to orgnaize my brushes and someone said I could add a folder in the file locator. So I tried that and it didn't add the brushes in that folder but turned a bunch I already had organized into black circles. Is there a way to fix this??

Do you have both file locations listed or just the one you added?

It was a bunch I already had in the folder so I don't know where they came from. I think I backed them all up on disc and deleted them off the computer. Oh well better luck next time....
