Hey there NatashaAnn,
Welcome! This place can seem a bit overwhelming, but take a deep breath and go at your own pace and you will get the hang of it.
I think the best place to start is the FAQ and the User Control Panel, this will help you learn how to navigate the sight and set up your site preferences (look below the decorative banner to the right of the Home Page link). Next check out The Campus (at the top of the page on your right). Start with the Are You New To Digital? link, then check out the Glossary, then Articles, then the Tutorials. Then just jump right in! Browse around the Forums, and the Gallery. If you see a layout that you really like click on it, comment on it, and add it to your favorites if you want. If you see a topic in forums that you want to follow, subscribe to it in thread tools. If you have photos or layouts you want to share, upload them.
I hope this helps a little. If you need more help, just ask... people here are great. There is always someone willing to help in some way.
I hope you enjoy it here.

Welcome!!! I'm from up north originally myself. Wendi is right, this place is huge, and can seem a bit overwhelming at first, but that's only because there's so much fun and information here! There are some great tutorials, if that's where you need help, and the forum is pretty well organized so it shouldn't take you long to navigate your way around. How long have you been scrapping? Are you new to just this place, new to digital or new to scrapping? What program do you use? And again, like Wendi said, never hesitate to ask, the people here are always kind and helpful. You're gonna love it!!

Yes, the best place to begin here is the "New to Digital?" link at the top of the page. It will answer many of your questions and help you with the program you are using. There are many different programs used -- some for their simplicity and some for their complexity -- the store offers a good program that will create layouts using kits or graphics and your photos - click on the "Starter Kit" link at the top of the page. Then come back and ask questions - DSP has the friendliest members who want to help. Welcome to DSP!

Welcome to DSP! I see you have gotten lots of great tips where to start, so I won't repeat all that! Let us know if you need anything else!

Welcome NatashaAnn, This is a great place to be, the girls have already given you the info you need. Being new here too I have found the tutorials great, the freebies and store can't be beat, either.
I'm a transplanted "Southerner" originally from New England, by way of Ct. NH, FL now TN. I have to admit I loved it up there, but TN has really welcomed us, just like the ladies from this site. They are great amd will help you with anything you need here.
