Hello from Connecticut!
Hello everybody!

I'm very excited about this site and all of the resources available here! Love to learn more about the challenges and contests. I think having specific things to work on will help the learning process. As a beginner it's a little overwhelming all of the creative aspects of DS.

I'm also an avid photohobbist and with my little boy Ryan (who is 19 months old) I have a great subject!

I'm interested in taking the DSU 350 class as well. Anybody out there taken it already?

Welcome to DSP - I look forward to seeing your layouts in the gallery - As a beginner its good to take things slowly and read through all the tutorials - download a few freebies and have some fun - you will soon be as addicted as the rest of us

Welcome! You do have a great subject! I haven't taken 350, but I have taken DSU 160, 261, 361, 211, and 311 and am currently enrolled in 190 and so far they have all been very helpful in showing me things I didn't know before!
