Christms Eve frustrated PSE and ADSee

After doing much research on the various sites. I decided to go with ADSee for organizing all my digital elements. I have only put a few in at this time. Where I am frustrated is if I have PSE 5.0 open how do I get an element from ADSee into PSE? I am sure it is very simple, but can't figure it out!!

are you referring to elements? most programs have certain file affilitations, such as .jpg, .tiff, etc but you might have to close out the file before trying to open it in acdsee. hope that helps~

Ctrl-E opens up the element from Acdsee into the editor of your choice (you can set this up in Tools -> Open in Editor -> Configure Editors. Choose Add to add PSE5 and make it your default). I am currently trialling Acdsee myself and am finding it very quick and easy to use.

Thanks a ton!! I knew it had to be something easy!! Seeing that you are trailling ACDSee, are you going to be putting your layouts/album within ACDSee or just your elements?

I want it primarily to organise my digi scrapping elements (backgrounds, embellishments etc) so that is what I am focussing on at the moment. Getting organised is taking a while - but I am liking acdsee much better than the PSE organiser - much faster!!

It is sooooo much easier to deal with the PSE/Picasa/Bridge. And ORganizer and Bridge woule end up crashing my computer.

If you set your default editor to PSE Ctrl-E will open it in that. However, I like ACDSee Organizer for making simple edits like cropping, exposure, color correction etc, so I keep ACDSee as my default editor. When I want to open something in PS, I just grab it in ACDSee then drag it right into PS.
