Why are my pictures distorted?

I just used the blinkie tutorial for PS and Image Ready and after I save my blinkie it gets "noisy" or spotted on the images. Why?? What am I doing wrong? Also...I can't figure out how to get the border to move seperately from the other frames...can someone point me to another tutorial or try to explain it? thanks!!!

Well I suppose the quality of the image becomes poor because you save it at a low PPI... I've had the same problem with mine. I tried saving it larger size and it worked out well. For my blinkie saving at 32 dithered (I've used ImageReady CS) was too bad.
If I'm wrong maybe someone more experienced at blinkies will correct this.

I did do the 32 dithered....so should I see if there is a higher number? Thanks!!! :clap:

There is. Try these options... also loading your blinkie to some other hosting site and putting a link in your signature is the best option. When you upload from your PC you have the restrictions of the file size... So this may result in poor quality.
