PS Plug-ins-a way to convert PC for Mac?

For those of you who use PCs, there is a fabulous free kaleidoscope plug-in at http://www.nansons-place.com/nontut/...midas/gold.htm.

Would love to use this but it's for Windows. Is there any way to adjust it for Mac? Even the creator is willing to do it if someone can tell him how.

Also, I'm just confused in general apparently. I thought plug-ins, filters, scripts, etc., for PS were cross-platform, which obviously isn't so. Does anyone know good sources of free "extras" for Macs?

nope...no way to convert, have to create it on a mac afaik. Check out Flaming Pear for cross-platform plug-in trials, there's a new way to do them to work on both, but I don't know what program is used to do that. Worth a query! My fave source for both is graphicssoft from About.com, just type in free plug-ins
